Scenario 1: Consumer is enrolled in both health/dental plans:
The “Change Plans” option will be presented at the top of the screen:
The consumer will be directed to the application confirmation screen to confirm they want to change plans. When they select “Change Plans”, they will receive a popup message letting them know that their existing coverage will remain active until they confirm enrollment in a new plan. They would select “Shop for a New Plan” to select new coverage:
Scenario 2: Consumer is only enrolled in health or dental:
Consumer will have “Continue Shopping” on their page as Next Steps:
The consumer will be prompted to shop for the coverage type they are not enrolled in (i.e. this consumer is not enrolled in dental, so is defaulted to the Dental tab):
If the consumer selects the “Shop Health Plans” tab, they have the option to change their existing plan or cancel it, and they can proceed with either option to change their plan:
