To be eligible to enroll in health coverage through Virginia's Insurance Marketplace, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or have a qualifying immigration status.
- Hold your citizenship or “lawfully present” immigration status for the entire enrollment period.
- Be a resident of Virgina
- NOT be incarcerated
If you have Medicare coverage, you're not eligible to buy a health or dental plan through Virginia's Insurance Marketplace.
